The Fight to Restore the River
The construction of the Dunlap Dam has drastically reduced water flow in the section of the Guadalupe River below it. For the first time in 94 years, this once-thriving riverbed has been left nearly dry. No proper evaluation was conducted to assess the impact on wildlife, and we believe the new operation violates the originally issued permit. Without intervention, the ecosystem and natural beauty of this section of the river will be lost.
